Looking for LP records?
You’ll find a wal-mart of vinyl at Mal-Mart!

The only one of its kind, Mal-Mart featuring 20 Specialty Shops (Honeydale Mall, 5555 Dundas St West, just 5 mins. from the Kipling subway) is open 4 days a week: Thurs & Fri from 10- 7 and Sat & Sun from 9 – 6pm.

Parking is ample. For easier access you may use the NO FRILLS main entrance of the mall. Lots of room to walk through and assuredly you won’t be apologizing to others for rubbing elbows or stepping on their feet.

The ever-growing traffic flow of Torontonians shopping here has to do with the unusual and rare antiques as well as many collectibles that these specialty stores are getting a name for. Take the time to visit - you won’t regret it: no doubt you’ll find something here to tickle your fancy!

Specialty items:

African imports
Alterations and custom orders
Baby clothes and accessories
Breakfast specials at $1.99 and Caribbean cuisine
CDs, DVD Movies, DVD Concerts and Vinyl LPs
Cellular phones and accessories
Classic Turn-tables, Amplifiers and Speakers
Clothing (both Urban fashions and regular wear)
Collectibles and antique furniture
Imported Chocolates, goodies and other specialty items from UK, Scotland and Ireland
Name brand Fragrances
Original paintings and art collections
Pets (Puppies, Tropical Birds and Fish, Snakes and other cute pets)
Shoes, Dresses, Handbags and Jewelry Toys

Finding rare items is worth the time you spend.
Classic movies on DVD and Blu-Ray are also a few of the popular and readily available items but what seems to be the attraction (judging by the crowd in that particular section) is the amazing selection of DVD Concerts! They carry a vast variety of DVD concerts from popular artists like Johnny Cash to niche market artists like Spyro Gyra.  The pricing makes it even better for you with their ‘Buy One Get One FREE’ special which applies to all DVDs, CDs as well as vinyl records.

The Abba to Zappa booth carries a huge collection of rare and collectible LP titles you did not think possible to ever find! I found it quite interesting to view the autographed copies of vinyl signed by Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Madonna and other great bands (Rankin Family, Crowded House and even Paul McCartney) whose autographs were on promo plaque-posters. Assuredly you’ll find the album you’ve been searching forever whether it be on vinyl or CD! These vendors are also quite amiable and will gladly give you a discount, given the present recession.

Sell your records – Get more money!.
The annual Abba to Zappa Record Show will be hosted by Mal-Mart this year on Fri Feb 26 to Sun Feb 28 from 10-6pm. Admission if free. This promises to be the record event of the year since it is here that you will find over 50,000 vinyl records (and other rare and collectible items) to browse through. ‘Art of the turntable’ live performances by some of Toronto’s top DJ’s are being scheduled to entertain the young people: you can watch them spin records at the front entrance.

Here is your opportunity to get the biggest buck for your LP record. Mal-Mart invites anyone who has any musical items to sell to participate on this 3-day event. You can set up your own table for only $50 or book all 3 days for only $100. There is only limited space available and as such you may want to book your space immediately: email: frankmalmart@gmail.com
